Too Many Cats

Too Many Cats is a cloth doll that has been grunged and stained with walnut crystals. Her face is hand painted and her eyes are black buttons. Her hair is raw wool that I needle felted on. Her fingers are hand stitched, her stockings and shoes are hand painted and sanded to get that old look. Also, her shoes have antique shoe buttons. Her dress is black calico with tiny white flowers, bloomers are navy, black, and white striped. She has a full underskirt made from tea stained muslin. She also has a barn red and oatmeal homespun bow in her hair. She is holding three kitties that are hand painted and grunged. Their faces are hand embroidered. Their eyes are mismatched antique buttons and their whiskers are horse tail. This doll is approximately 24 inches tall. She is signed and dated and has a grunged tag. She has been created from a pattern by Sweet Meadows Farm. SORRY, THIS DOLL IS SOLD

My Pet Crow

My Pet Crow is a cloth doll that has been aged with walnut crystals. She has a round head, hand painted face with sewn on eyelids. Her hair is pure wool that is hand sewn on. Her dress is navy blue with red and white stars. Her bloomers are tea stained muslin. Her stockings are hand painted on. In her hand she is holding a crow that is hand painted and sanded for that old look. She is signed and dated and comes with a grunged tag. She is approximately 20 inches tall.This doll was created from a pattern by Sweet Meadows Farm. SORRY, THIS DOLL IS SOLD

Raven & the Snowman

This is a primitive raven & snowman made from stained, grunged & aged muslin.The snowman's eyes are hand painted, his nose is a dried pod, & his mouth is made up of peppercorns. He is wearing anavy blue shirt with gold & white "snowflakes". His pants are barn red & oatmeal stripes. There is an osnaberg placket sewn on his shirt with linen thread. He has blue painted on mittens with faux fur trim & black painted on boots with the faux fur trim & rusty jingle bells. His top hat is painted, stained, & aged muslin that has been hand sewn on. He is approximately 10" tall. The raven is made from muslin that has been hand painted & sanded & "waxed" with Briwax then sanded again & rubbed down with cinnamon.His legs & feet are rusty wire. He is 12" long & about 10" tall. The two of them together stand approximately 16" tall & 12" long & they stand. This piece was created by me using 2 fabulous patterns. One by Sweet Meadows Farm & the other by Soft in the Head. SORRY, THIS ITEM IS SOLD BUT I WILL TAKE ORDERS

Winter Woolens

"Winter Woolens" is a grunged & aged door greeter.The snowmen, the mitten, & the crescent moon are made from muslin that has been hand painted, sanded, and aged with black walnut crystals. The snowmen's eyes are hand embroidered, their noses are pinch stitched & painted,& the mouths are embroidered. Their faces are painted & sanded, & they have homespun scarves tied around their necks. Their hats are made from muslin that has been hand painted, sanded, & stained. The mitten has sticks I cut in my yard & dried sweet annie tucked in also. This was created by me from a pattern by Hill Kountry Kreations.
