Click image to enlarge Porky & Bess Bess is a black doll that has been painted and grunged. Her face is needle sculpted and her hair is raw wool. Her fingers and toes are also needle sculpted. Bess's overalls are dark green denim and her blouse is made of cotton with writing on it such as Alleluiah! and worthy is the Lamb. She comes with Porky, her pet pig. He is hand painted and grunged and has a cute curly tail! They come with a grunged tag. They are both signed and dated. Bess is approx. 18" tall and Porky is 5"x7". She has an embroidered face, Raggedy red curls, painted shoes and stockings, bloomers and a homespun bow in her hair. Her dress is also hand painted. She is holding a quilted and embroidered pillow that says: One Nation Under God. It is attached to her hand by a rusty wire with a rusty bell on it. She is completely grunged and sanded. There is a grunged tag attached to her too. She is signed and dated and she stands approx. 18" tall. They are approx. 8"x5". These pillows can be used as tree ornaments, as well as shelf sitters or bowl fillers. They come with a rusty tin wire to hang them up with and a rusty star and grunged tag. They are made of muslin with wooden legs. The sizes are 8"x6", 7"x5", and 6"x4". They all have a grungy tag that is signed and dated and a rusty bell.
